
Hanan Rahman is currently pursuing a B.M in Horn Performance at Boston University, studying with Eric Ruske. She has performed in masterclasses with renowned pedagogues such as Erik Ralske, William Purvis, Bernhard Scully, and Michelle Stebleton. Hanan performs throughout New England with local ensembles such as the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra, the New England Repertory Orchestra, and the Newport Contemporary Arts Orchestra. As a member of the Boston University Symphony Orchestra, she has performed in several concerts at Symphony Hall, including Stravinsky’s Le Sacre du printemps and principal on Haydn’s Die Schöpfung. During the summers, Hanan has studied at various summer festivals, including National Music Festival, Taneycomo Festival, Miami Music Festival, Orford Music Academy, and Bay View Music Festival, studying with Gregory Miller, Abel Pereira, and James Sommerville, among others.
